Welcome to the forum, starting.

Asking for help is the single most important step to take to begin recovery. That step was the toughest one for me when I finally realized and admitted that I was an alcoholic.

People are ready to help those who ask for help. You can meet them here, at meetings in your area or at meetings online, such as those at aaonline.net

Tell us more about your situation, starting. Plenty of people here who will understand and support you.

Welcome! Surrender is the ideal starting place. I hope you can find a local meeting in the meanwhile. I could not have done this without the help of AA.

Getting on your knees in prayer is a pretty good start.  After you get up off your knees, get into the actions of the 12 Steps.....and keep praying.  Welcome to the MIP Board.

Blessings, Mike D.
