Yep, today is the day. It was a Tuesday and I had invited my old friend Steve to go out drinking monday night. He said "What's the occasion?" and I told him that it was going to be the last time I ever drank. He laughed really hard and said let's go. We hit a few bars, had a really nice evening, not too late. Went to a noon meeting the next day, got my last white chip and bam 25 years passed like an Indiana Jones marathon movie weekend. To those of you wishing you had 10, 20 years, Don't! All it does it make you older, just enjoy your every day like it's your last.

That's a quarter century of continuous sobriety, wow.

Feeling the love, it was a beautiful week, even though I had to work in the hot sun. Leaving for the mountain home this morning with my best friend, for a week to chill out and ponder gratitude and the gifts of sobriety. I love you all.
