The Alcoholic And Mood Swings
Each time the medication (alcohol) is taken, it reacts within the alcoholic's system.So theoretically, if that "system" that the alcohol was working within was always the same or "static," the alcohol would generate fairly predictable behaviors.But the human system is far from "static," it's actually very dynamic.That means that the mood or behavior that resulted from eight drinks the alcoholic drank yesterday, might produce an entirely different mood and behavior the next day.So in a sense, this adds to the unpredictability of the alcoholic, because you never know exactly what the outcome of each drinking episode is going to be.And even the alcoholic themselves are confused and perplexed by this inconsistency and will wonder why the "dosage" of the "potion" is not producing the same result it produced just a few days ago.
As a result, the mood swings that an alcoholic has are not just caused by what the alcohol succeeded in doing, but sometimes because of what it failed to do.
