True forgiveness only occurs when we treat the subject as a closed matter.  If we bring up old hurts whenever feelings fly, then we have never really forgiven.  To hold a grudge is to build a wall between yourself and another person.  Forgiveness breaks down walls.  My higher power came to break down walls and lead people to reconciliation.  Before true healing can occur though, we must let loose of all old hurts and start fresh.  Forgiveness gives us the clean start we need to heal all wounds.  With the help of the higher power, we can grow closer than ever before.

Teach me how to drop old hurts into the sea of forgetfulness, and truly forgive those who have harmed me.  Fill me with your grace, that I might learn how to be graceful to others.

You only live once; but if you work it right, once is enough. There is nothing better than the encouragement of a good friend.

Goodmorning to all of you,

These next three Steps are "PEACE WITH OTHERS STEPS." The STEPS to FORGIVENESS.

Step 8 Made a list of all persons we had harmed and became willing to make amends to them ALL.
Step 9 Made direct ammends to to such people whenever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.
Step 10 Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.

Forgiveness was never in my mouth when I drank or when I was high. Even after I have been clean for sometime I still struggle with life. For me to apologize to someone when I felt that they were more wrong than I was " FORGET ABOUT IT." God is my sheild and my buckler.

Forgiveness is not a sign of weakness it is "TRUE HUMILITY" to be able apologize, asking for Forgiveness for my wrongs. The mess I make, the feelings I hurt, my mis-placed pride. If I am wrong I need to admit it to myself, to God and then to the other person. Asking for and saying I forgive you is cleansing to our Souls. I am really good at asking for FORgiveness from the HEART, and FORGIVING from the HEART

Forgiveness is a 2-way street. Christ declared in The Lord's Prayer that we say: Forgive us our Trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.... We need to ask forgiveness of those we have harmed. And we have to forgive those who have harmed us. Turning the other cheek is not in our nature, loving our enemies isn't either, praying for our persecutors what's with that? None of it is possible on our own Strength, but with GOd and him knowing our struggles he is waiting for our HONEST CRY for HELP. God to the Rescue!

SO we keep on doing those 3 steps in consequetive order and when you slip up. God will convict our HEARTS then we have the tools of the program to make our amends list and our amends, then keep our personal inventory straight everyday if you offend someone else get rid of it right away.

Keep it Simple, Easy Does it!, Live and Let Live, Let go Let God,

Gods with us,

Love Pam Hope Blessed
